Natural-looking beard transplantation designed around your facial features, with precise angle control using the DHI technique.

In beard transplant procedures, we design a beard line that suits your own facial proportions rather than a generic shape. The DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) pen technique gives us fine control over the angle and direction of each graft, which is what makes the result in the beard line, moustache and sideburn areas look natural. Every patient is assessed with a detailed facial analysis before we agree on the design together, and the procedure is carried out in a hospital setting in Izmir.
A beard transplant involves taking hair follicles from a donor area of the body — most often the nape of the neck, and in some cases the chest — and transplanting them one by one into the beard area. Performed with the DHI pen technique, the procedure can restore the beard line, moustache and sideburns with results that are intended to be permanent and natural in appearance.
The DHI pen technique is generally preferred for beard work because extraction and implantation follow one another closely, giving the surgeon precise control over the angle at which each graft sits. Facial hair grows at a much sharper angle than scalp hair, and getting that angle and direction right is the single biggest factor in whether a beard transplant reads as natural or not.
We carry out a detailed facial analysis for every patient in order to determine the beard design that best fits their features. The beard line, the shape of the moustache and the sideburn areas are planned together with you. The angle and direction of the hairs are chosen carefully, because these details are what make the difference between a natural beard and an obviously transplanted one.
In the first 10 to 15 days after the procedure, the transplanted hairs shed. New beard hair typically begins to appear after 3 to 4 months, with the final result generally visible within 6 to 8 months. Recovery is usually quicker than after a scalp transplant, and any marks in the donor and recipient areas tend to be minimal. Timelines vary from person to person.
We start with a consultation by WhatsApp or phone. Your facial structure is assessed and a suitable technique is proposed.

Under local anaesthesia, grafts are harvested and placed into the beard area at natural angles using the DHI pen technique.

It depends on the number of grafts to be transplanted, but the procedure commonly takes around 4 to 6 hours.
We advise not shaving for the first 15 to 20 days. After that period, most patients can return to shaving as usual.
